Not my day, again..
Everything seems to always happen to me on Wednesday. And when I say everything I mean bad things.
- Flooding my bathroom while trying to install a diaper sprayer
- My driver side window mechanism breaking and my window falling into the door panel on a cold rainy day
And yesterday my windshield cracked in what I thought was three places until I looked again this morning and saw this:
The worst part is I think I did it. I started shoveling so Brian wouldn’t have to do all that much when he got home from work. I was trying to earn major wife points here. I got his side done and the walkway up to the door. Then I started to get everything off my car, a ton of snow and very thick ice. I got a lot off and then started the car to start defrosting it a bit. I was trying to break up the thick ice on the windshield and apparently I hit it too hard. Maybe it was the freezing on one side and the heat on the other plus my blows that did it. Either way, it is done and needs to be replaced to the tune of $250.
Lovely.
It could be worse right?
I’m actually really thankful that it wasn’t more than that. Money is going to be a bit of an issue soon, but that is another post.

Oh no. That was a very bad, no good day! I hope you at least got the diaper sprayer installed. I love mine and can’t imagine life without it! Cole just came over here and I think I will be using the sprayer in a minute or two. lol
We had the same issue with all four of our windows of a car we no longer own. They told us it was a design flaw and there was no fix for the back windows so they made them stay up permanently. They front window mechanisms where on back order. We traded the car in before they ever came in.

I am glad that it is not too much to have fixed but still it is money you weren’t planning on needing for that expense.
