I survived!

I was wondering why I was so emotional and depressed.

I did NOT want to do anything or go anywhere. I was barely getting on the computer, and I love my computer time.

When “she” showed up all the pieces came together. “She” can be such a hassle.  My hormones do NOT like to be disrupted. Now that my first post partum “Aunt Flo” has left the building, I can resume my life again!

Wahoo!

And this Saturday is Valentine’s Day, so to have “her” out of the way before then equals a double wahoo!

And in honor of Valentine’s Day I am doing another giveaway, one that I feel is highly important. So look for that soon :)

The highlight of my weekend was the Annual Scrap Weekend the my friend Stephanie throws. It was at church this year. I didn’t really attend last year. I hung out a bit and helped Ann-Morgan with her pages. The year before that was awesome.

This time around I didn’t even scrap.

I worked hard on Rachel’s hat and scarf, and it’s almost complete. I have the scarf to finish, but I can knock that out today. I need to get some more yarn, I ran out of the color.

I *finally* finished  the blanket for our family room! I started it forever ago and got done except for the last bit of edging. So I finished it up and weaved in all the ends! Go me! It is huge. It had to be big enough for Brian and I to share! And it’s so soft. I absolutely love it.

Friday night after getting organized, Kelly, Kendra, Michelle and I all went to see “He’s just not that into you“. Great movie, it is really funny. There were parts that were predictable, but all in all, it was just a fun movie. I recommend it for a girl’s night out! Saturday morning, we did breakfast at Bob Evan’s. My favorite meal of the whole weekend was lunch. Kelly, Kendra and I went to Max & Erma’s and I got the Tomato Mozzarella Chicken on Kelly’s reccomendation. It was fabulous. Seriously, a party in my mouth. I want to eat it again and soon! So if you are ever at a Max & Erma’s, you must try it! I got home around 10:30pm.

Brian did awesome. He even took all three kiddos to Dave and Buster’s for lunch and games. I was highly impressed!

I can’t wait until next year.

I think I might have been bit by the scrapbooking bug again. I went out and got some much needed adhesive. This is a good thing. I am way behind.

Alright, I’ve rambled on enough.

Happy Monday everyone!

  • Congrats on finishing the blanket! I know you have said before that you only do single crochet, but that looks like it might be something different. Do tell! :)

I am so far behind on scrapping that I wonder if I should even tell anyone I do it! lol Cole has an empty book! I have recently started buying some scrapping stuff in boy colors since everything I own works much better for a girl. Someday I will get around to it!

I have moved beyond single crochet. I now do it all including reading patterns! The blanket is a combo of both single and double crochet. I have this book Getting Started Crochet. I learned a lot from it and still do some of the patterns in it and refer back to it.

And I need boy scrap stuff too. I have just about everything girly under the sun.

I mean I get that we are thousands of miles away and all, and you have friends who live there and a movie theater, but really, you gals couldn’t make a quick flight to WA so I could go too? How rude!! LOL Ya know I am just kidding!!!

Third…. I LOVE the blanket, it looks so cozy, I think that is what I want for my Birthday this year LOL I know I won’t get it until I am 30, thats okay ;)
