Sometimes I just don’t have much to say.

It was a really long weekend.

But first let me say that I got Katie’s kindergarten acceptance letter in the mail! She will be going half-day next year! I am beyond thrilled

We had the Gehrings over for dinner on Friday night. The kids had a blast. We played cards. The night ended with a cheap $1 glow stick exploding on the girls carpet. I will say it looked kind of cool. The yellow stains in the carpet visable the next morning, not so cool anymore. Especially since we just got our carpets steam cleaned. Oh well.

Saturday I got a mani/pedi with Michelle. We went shopping at Kroger and then had lunch at Wendy’s. It was really nice. I made lasagna and we had 4 people come over for dinners of 8. It’s a thing LCC does and you sign up to go to a dinner to meet new people.  It was a great time. I’m glad we hosted. After that I went to work on a little service project for a dear friend Got home after midnight.

Sunday I was not in a good mood in the morning. I was on my own getting to church with the kiddos and my attitude was absolutely horrible.  After church I went to see my Mom. She just got back from a medical missions trip to Honduras. Then I went to work on the project until midnight again.

Today, I took the kids to and from school and worked on the project. I have a bit of anxiety about the project because I don’t know how it was received.

Anyway it was a really busy weekend, and on top of that I had just gotten my period (hormonal, um, yes!) and Alex is trying to *finally* cut his first tooth (grumpy and not sleeping so well). Add me staying up even later because of YouTube feeding my pregnancy obsession. I’ve been very tired.

I just need to get back into the swing of things. I don’t particularly like being quiet, it usually means I’m trying to withdraw from the world.

I don’t want to do that. I’m not sure if that’s even what I’m doing.

I’m too tired to sit and analyze my motives.

I’m off to bed, after watching one more thing on YouTube. I swear, just 1
