God Loves Me…

I go to Bible study at church on Wednesday mornings. We are doing Beth Moore’s Esther, It’s Tough Being A Woman. It has been a really good study, I really like the structure of it, though I have been having a bit of trouble keeping up. It has really opened my eyes to a lot of things I had trouble processing before and has revealed the Lord to me on a whole other level.

We meet in the Kid’s Life area to watch the DVD and get into small groups. On the wall there were pictures that the children had drawn. I found Brianna’s and it said God loves me. She had drawn a picture of a girl, who was drawing a picture of a girl and a sun on an easel. The caption to the picture said, I am artistic.

It brought a smile to my lips, and my heart was filled with so much love and admiration for my little girl. She loves art and the joy she has when she finishes a project can light up a room!

It also is a glimpse of my past, because I felt that same way, before I lost a piece of how much art really meant to me. Lost to the daily mundane things that seem to take over and infiltrate your life.

I think Brianna and I should take an art class together. I know she would really love that and it would give us a chance to share an experience with each other with a medium that we both love!

I wanted to share a picture she did at school.

I love it, her use of color is just brilliant!

God really has given her a love and passion for art, it’s neat to see it grow in Brianna!
