1. Brian got a new job. It’s a promotion. He will now be a managing 11 customer service representatives. It is a huge answer to prayer as we are trying to pay off debt by following Dave Ramsey without having to get a second job.

2. I sold the first blanket I ever listed on Etsy this week. At first I didn’t understand why I had received money in my paypal account from someone I didn’t know. Then I saw the email from Etsy and I started jumping up and down with excitement! I have another blanket and a hat and scarf set to list. I am working on a new blanket.

It’s been a good week!

I have a new friend.

We’ve gotten very close over the last couple of weeks.

I’ve been with him through thick and thin, from his first chain to his finally being able to see!

My children are all excited to have him done with all his “surgery”.

It was rough only being a body and legs for weeks.

Alex hugs him so tightly, I’m afraid he won’t be able to breathe!

The girls are scraping together all their coins to try and buy him.

They have settled for asking for sock monkeys made by me for Christmas.

My friend has just been listed on Etsy.

He sits, patiently waiting for a family to love him just as much as we do!

I figured since I was a crocheting crazy woman, I might as well try to sell some of these blankets. Brian is banning me from making them for our family, as we have more than we will ever need.

Therefore, I created an Etsy Store.

Without further ado, I present to you,

I have one listing right now, which is featured to the right on my blog. I call it “Chasing Blue”. I love this blanket and wish I could keep it for dear Alex. It’s super soft and I loved putting it together. Plus I’m partial to blue, it’s my fave color!

I’m working on one right now that has plum, lilac and natural yarn. It’s working up great too.
