I feel pretty, oh so pretty!

I downloaded some music and burned some CD’s for the car. I cannot wait until my birthday. I have a feeling I will be getting an IPOD!! Well that is what I asked for anyway LOL! So I got some fun music to rock out to in the car!

After putting Katie in bed, I went out and got my nails done! I cannot say enough about gel nails. I love, love, love them!!! Tina was fantastic and I am loyal so I will definitely be going to her on regular basis! And after my next balance they will be my nails and not tips! I kept them short though. If they get to long I start not being able to do things LOL…

Then I went to Walmart and got some staples for the house! Eggs, milk, that sort of thing!

It was just so nice to go out. Get some pampering, do some shopping (even if it was grocery) and rock out to music at the decibel of my choice!

Definitely a great night!

  1. How are gel nails diff from acrylic? I really want some new nails, but I find I pick at the acrylic like I do my real nails, sigh

    Music roooooooocks

  2. I love me some music! I’ve been making a lot of cd’s the last few days too! I did an awesome Violent Femmes, plus some BNL, Lucinda Williams, the ever fabulous Jack Johnson (a remake of a cd I already burned but Jay stole lol) and my new favorite, Arctic Monkeys! 🙂 I also cleaned up my mp3 and synced it to Napster.

I can’t handle fake nails. They are pretty but I always rip them off before a week is up. lol Do you do french or colors?

  3. Gel Nails are the future of the nail industry! Europe is already 90% GELS, the USA will be too within 10 years! Gels are and will be the “hot” service that clients demand. No other service can give clients both a natural nails look and feel combined with the convenience and durability of acrylic nails. Many clients have tired of acrylic nails in this past decade because of the disadvantages that can be associated with them (such as the odors and lifting and nail damage, etc) . These same clients now flock to salons in record numbers for “natural nail” manicures with many spa type add-ons to increase the ticket price. BUT…. Many of these clients have already grown weary of the weekly appointments and rigorous home maintenance requirements of “natural” nails. They want another alternative; they want natural beauty combined with strength and durability. Now you can give clients what they want…… Gel nails ARE the best of both worlds!

    Benefits of Gel Nails:
    1) Odorless
    2) Natural Feeling
    3) Thin
    4) Flexible
    5) Crystal Clear
    6) Light Weight
    7) Natural looking
    8) No lifting!

  4. I pick at them too when I had acrylic. I never made it to ever get them balanced LOL. I always had them snapped off LOL..

Gel is just neat. The whole process. I mean you leave with washing your hands because the gel just sets and they are dry. Plus I get frenk tip and it doesn’t chip or anything because the polish and airbrushing are under the gel and not on top!

    Very cool!

    And heck ya music rocks!!!

  5. Oh violent femmes!!! i’ve never heard arctic monkeys. I’ll have to check them out!

I can’t handle acrylic nails, I always snapped them off before ever getting to balance them LOL.. But these are just different. They feel like my real nails! I love my real nails but they always break and I can’t keep polish on regularly. So it just looks bad. Now I have the prettiness with the strength! Love it 🙂

I do french, I’m a plain and simple gal 😉

  6. ok next week I’m determinded to get me some gel tips..hopefully they do them somewhere around here.. You’ve sold me!lol

I love ipods.. especially in the car when they give tons of commercials or have nothing really good on..
